put a 640 cpu in and worked fine for a couple years.Now fan is running fast do I need to renew thermal paste?MY computer is on patio outback and gets pretty hot out there

Hello – Just upgraded my XPS 420 to Win 7, + bought new Linksys router and experiencing problems connecting to internet. Have spent about 3 hours w/ Linksys tech support (incl L2) and they suggest upgrading the adapter driver.

i’ve searched and tried some solutions but not even one works for me. i’ve checked my VOSTRO 1500, the device manager states that the device is working properly. the bluetooth configuration however states that the device is not found.

I have an Inspiron 1520. Until recently, when I pressed one of the sound buttons (mute, raise volume, lower volume) on the front of the computer, a little graphic would be displayed on the screen that showed the sound level based on the change I just made by pressing the button.
